Sale & Pepe is an Italian enoteca in Rīga, located on Gleznotāju iela in the Old Town, just steps from the Latvian National Opera. Since 2014, our Italian chefs Raffaele and Rita have been serving handmade pasta, Neapolitan pizza, and classic Italian dishes — now organised the way an Italian enoteca does it: the wine comes first, the food is chosen to match.
In our kitchen, pasta is always al dente, the pizza is made the way they do it in Naples, and every dessert — from tiramisu to panna cotta — is handmade. Raffaele & Rita put into every dish the same feelings they grew up with: the scent of lasagna from their mothers' kitchens and the aroma of pizza in the streets of Naples.
